Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Apr 10, 2014 3:50 pm Before i go and ring some places up id like to sound somewhat informed so i don't get ripped off. Ive got a new place and id like to brickpave around the house. Ive worked out its about 85m2. The pavers i want are these: http://australbricks.com.au/wa/pavers/metro/ which are the same as the driveway. The ground is just sand at the moment and is already pretty hard. Should i buy the bricks myself or do the pavers usually do that? Roughly what sort of price am i looking at? Re: Brick paving in WA 2Jun 24, 2014 5:00 pm I am waiting for someone to answer this one too as i am also in this situation..mine is just not build yet.. haha i was also thinking about liquid limestone and someone told me that it will be more solid and will last longer. Brickpavers would be a little cheaper than LL. Re: Brick paving in WA 4Jun 25, 2014 4:52 am just had a bit of paving myself the supply and lay from brickmakers seems good but there is a pdf with fine print. some items was you need to level and compact to levels you want so you also need sand. they seem to just want to rock up and pack the pavers. wanted my crosss over done so i could do other jobs but paving guys wanted $500 for under 14m2 paving excluding sand pavers. one guy even wanted to do a d0dgy one saying i dont need sand? paving pricing seems to end up costing more than L-limestone paver price+sand+labour in the end i bought a compactor and sand and did job myself. the result looks better than what builder did. only problem with l limestone is on youre service side of house if you get a problem with under ground pipe work it will cost a lot to break up to do repairs where as pavers can be re used. Internet suggested it should be $85-100/m2 to lay them.… 3 12389 As most others have posted above the install isn't compliant.
