Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Feb 03, 2014 7:01 pm I'm considering making an offer on a house that could do with some TLC. Any suggestions are welcome - guess I just want to know this could be given some sort of street appeal! That cement row through the grass is the top of a brick wall which makes the front yard 2 levels of grass. Photoshop anyone? I`d also pressure wash the driveway and all the concrete edging and brick retaining walls to make them look clean and newer, and if the budget allowed I`d render the brickwork a nice cream/brown colour and get a more modern entry door Re: What would you do with this? 3Feb 06, 2014 8:51 pm Thanks Alex, I think the pressure wash and pebbles will make a world of difference, as will pulling down the shade cloth. I also agree about pulling out whatever those plants are along the front and getting away from the sparse hedged look into something softer. Thanks again...time to ponder some more now that we have actually signed a contract! Re: What would you do with this? 4Feb 07, 2014 12:03 pm I would defintely get rid of the green shade cloth and the lattice.
