Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 19, 2013 5:16 pm I would like to fit a tap timer to the user end of the garden hose, not the tap end. This would allow me to swap attachments, or move the hose between 3 veg garden dribbler systems without having to make the trek to the tap and back twice with each change. Years ago Sabco made a timer with just a male thread each end which was ideal as you could then fit the male/female hose attachments as needed. They no longer make that model, and all of the timers that I have looked at have a female tap thread built in. Does anybody know of a timer that has the basic 2 male threads? If not, is there a simple way to achieve what I want? I have messed with a timer and various fittings, but it all starts to get bulky and often the timer is on backwards and won't work. Any suggestions appreciated. Re: Tap timer for the other end of the hose. 2Nov 19, 2013 6:25 pm It would be easy to make one up from a stock standard M-F, ask your friendly hardware/Bunnings store to do it.
