Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design Re: Concrete lawn edging 2Nov 17, 2013 2:09 pm I saw this cool stuff at the home show back in May. It's called Kwik Kerb. Looks like it's a franchise actually but seemed relatively easy to use (even for my not-so-handy hubby!) Casey + Gary + 5 kool kiddos + 1 funky Frenchie + 5 happy hens = barrels of fun in Muswellbrook Re: Concrete lawn edging 3Nov 17, 2013 2:34 pm I used kwik kerb about 10 years ago, it was good and the price was reasonable. Re: Concrete lawn edging 4Nov 25, 2013 9:23 pm Thank you for the replies. I couldn't get organised in time for concrete kerbing so I used treated pine fence rail which was on special. Intention is to remove the wood at some stage and pour a concrete border. I looked at the Kwikerb and equivalents and they are quite wide at 175mm. I guess to obtain sufficient strength for their mix. I'd prefer a nominal 100mm. Thanks again. the leaves that are now underground go yellow, the tips that poke through photosynthesise and have chlorophyll, same reason they grow rhubarb in the dark. 5 4913 Hi all I need a guidance on how far I need to space expansion joints in the concrete driveway and its type (keyway/foam.) Contraction joints are at 3m max for a 125 slab. Thanks 0 10979 |
