Hi, Can i ask how much it costs for an architect to produce the landscaping plan? We also need to submit a landscaping plan to our developer to get approval before building. Not sure if we could draw it ourselves or have to get it professionally done.. We are also looking at doing our own landscaping and have no clue where to start. The fact that we have to have a drip system installed in our estate(Mandatory in the design guidelines) does not help. Anyone knows how much it costs to get a drip system installed and is it something we could do ourselves? Re: Landscaping cost??? 3May 11, 2008 2:37 am Just my 2c, we are in Sydney and I just received a quote for 45M long timber fence in 1.8M treated pine in most simple form, it's about $3800...
And we are using timber post, not steel/metal ones which are more expensive. Hope this helps! Not sure on cost of installation for garden systems - but we are having under-lawn - about $16/m2 But definitely can be DIY - go to a specialist irrigation place for advice - plenty out near Dural, Richmond etc. After 4 years - we're in! I am thinking of not including the landscaping plan on my package price and making it with a professional landscape designer if it only costs $500. my builder told me $2000 ,may be its with an architect.
