Gday all,
I've taken the advice I recieved and painted my 800mm high sleeper retaing wall and 1800mm high fence Woodlands Grey to match our facia and guttering. Its an awefull ot of woodlands grey but anyway. We filled in the garden beds and planted 5ft high Leyton Green's and more assorted plants which really helps and this weekend we're laying the turf which should make a world of difference. I have a section in the retaining wall/garden bed where it 'juts' for 3m that creates a space for my BBQ. I will be paving a small area 3m x 1.2m for the BBQ to sit on and I wanted something behind the BBQ to break up the expanse of woodlands grey.
I was thinking along the lines of 1500mm wide corrugated iron horizontally from ground to top of fence and Merbau battens either side.
I spose you'd call this a screen but I'm not sure whether it would look any good.
Obviously the BBQ isnt as wide as the entire screen but maybe some merbau seats built into the retaining wall either side of the BBQ?
Any suggestions?
I'll see if I can get some kind of pic to explain what I'm after.
