Hello All,
Our landscaper installed some upright pine sleepers in the ground about 3 months ago as per the landscaping plans. They had a protective undercoat and were whatever grade they should be for in-ground use. Sometime in the last month or so a couple of them have warped at the top (say 2cm or more deviation). Is this inevitable, or does it point to poor preparation of the sleepers? Is there some other wooden material (e.g. laminated posts) that would have behaved better in the ground?
thanks,
James.
