Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 May 29, 2013 4:49 pm Hi All, Long time forum wanderer but first time poster. I have used so much info from here so far (thanks all!) but this one I couldn't find an answer to... I work away 3-4 weeks at a time and as part of my glacial renovation of my 60yo house in Perth, am now doing the front gardens but there is quite often delays while I'm away at work before i can move to the next stage... I removed a heap of dead sand and replaced it as per Fu's guides with better soils / clays / etc for the garden beds and have half planted them out with natives and mulched - early days yet but nothing has died! But I do wonder if its ok that on my next break Ill be removing my old (and hopefully dead since i poisoned it before flying out) couch lawn and doing soil prep for a new lawn and wont be able to lay the new lawn until my next break after that - 3 weeks of the soil laying there open to the elements. I know its only dirt but i do wonder? Any advice much appreciated!
