I know they want shade (I've read 80%), and lots of water (in Japan, they are grown in flowing water). I've found some resources growing them commercially, but has anyone managed to grow Wasabi successfully in a home garden situation? A bath tub from the tip is a great start. A base of zeolite as a growing medium or expended clay. (zeolite is way better) and away you go. Some say in soil, which is the advice for home gardens, they don't like wet feet, but needs misting daily and full shade in summer.
