Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Apr 22, 2008 10:34 am Hey All,
Just thought i would post this question to see if i can get some help. We have started to build our gates setting Merbau posts and welding the stainless stee frame. We obviously oiled the posts before erecting them. We now cant get a hold of the Merbau 90mm slats that we are after but can get our hands on Batu. My question is, can i use the Merbau Oil on Batu? I bought so much of it I don't want it to go to waste!!! And advice would be appreciated. Thank you! Re: Merbau & Batu Timber Question 2Apr 22, 2008 6:03 pm you can use any quality timber oil on batu

But I'm not sure… 3 6156 The most likely cause of your timber swelling (parquetry?) is either a plumbing leak or carelessly leaving water on floors after use or both.
