Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Mar 15, 2013 2:49 pm Just wondering if anyone can recommend any landscapers in Perth preferably SOR. Must be able to do retaining walls (rendered), planter boxers etc. If anyone can also show pics and pricings etc as well that'd be great. Just trying to get an idea of where to go, seems alot of landscapers about but most seem to look like they will charge the earth. Don't want cheap but dont want gold plated plants either. Thanks. Very good links for where and to find a good landscaper. There was also a recent thread on this very same topic. Might be down the page or over the page. Re: Landscaper recommendations Perth 4Mar 23, 2013 10:18 pm Hi Fu thanks for that. The main problem is we have a good brickie to do our work and is even offering our bricks for free as he works for a big builder and is more than welcome to use bricks destined for the dump. We mainly just need someone to design a letterbox/planter that will work with our elevation and also the slight slope we are on. Seems very difficult. Building the Riva by Dale Alcock Homes. Think we gonna need retaining + planter which means council approval. Sounds complicated and we also have no idea where to start haha Is your brickie person a friend or a business? I think I need handy friends like that haha Re: Landscaper recommendations Perth 6Mar 24, 2013 11:50 am He did some work for some people who's daughter goes to school with ours and they reccommended him to us. OH met with him at the block the other day and as he is working on display homes for one of the big builders and said we'd be more than welcome to take bricks that are only going to be chucked out anyway. We'll double check with him that its okay and pass on details for you to use when you're further down the track if you like Leanne?? We have decided we absolutely love the brick planter/wall/letterbox of a "Next Residential" display called "The Erindale" and think it will work really well with our elevation!! http://nextresidential.com.au/?plan=the-erindale-2 Just gotta figure out how we can get hold of a design plan for it. Next Residential seems to be a partner company to Aveling homes so we have asked an Aveling builder on here if they have a social media person etc that could possible smuggle it for us lol. Failing that might have to contact them direct and be veryyyyy nice Re: Landscaper recommendations Perth 7Mar 24, 2013 12:13 pm That would be good thanks. We just designing our own. It's quite similar to the one you like actually with the big square one down the end then long one across. Letterbox we plan to make wider so its a long rectangle. It will sit along footpath where the planter box will actually be set back haha. Sounds confusing I know Re: Landscaper recommendations Perth 8Mar 24, 2013 9:10 pm Don't forget Perth Garden week coming up. Large storage closet would be more functional. 2 6884 I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 45547 |
