Usually used to clad a besser block wall to dress 'er up a bit. Real sandstone tends to be sawn if is is thin so you end up with less wastage but a smooth face - not what you are after. The thicker sandstone is hand hewn or split but starts at about 100mm thick. I think from memory it is called quarry face. Imitation ( reconstituted ) stone or limestone may be your only option at that thickness. http://www.adelaidestone.com.au/products.htm There are veneer and dimension (building) stone thicknesses, and corners in real stone. mostly smooth face though but give them a call - they may have or know where to source your item. You also don't say where you are. In Sydney, Gosford quarries is a good source of sandstone products. Stewie I had 28m2 of engineered pavers laid six months back and it was difficult to find someone not taking the pi$$. Internet suggested it should be $85-100/m2 to lay them.… 3 12352 Those span tables can be pushed a little for a low deck if you dont mind a little flex.
