I'm after a bit of info about Drooping Sheoaks. I have 5 baby plants and am hoping to plant one or two. I have some conflicting information about proximity to drains. I've read 3m from drains is fine, but I've also read they need to be planted 20m from drains!
I'm after something to give a bit of wind protection to some fruit trees, attract native birds and insects, eventually be a good climbing tree and also look somewhat attractive/interesting. This seemed to be the best choice, but I am a little concerned about the drain issue.
Does anyone have one in their yard? Any issues? I'm 50k north of Melbourne if that makes any difference.
