Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jan 22, 2013 5:34 pm Hi All I have a claret ash that is about 1 year old in the ground and at the start of spring it woke up and started growing profusely. Then we had the big blow in November and the tips got a little burnt. Since then it has basically stopped growing. It is still lush and green but, there is no more growth. It is positioned in the lawn, full sun and has grass growing up to its trunk. Should I be watering it more than what it gets from the lawn sprinklers? Should I be fertilizing it more than what it gets from the lawn? Any tips will be appreciated. regards Robbie Re: Claret Ash question 2Jan 22, 2013 9:40 pm I don't know so hoping some of the smarter gardening peeps will be able to clarify, but I've heard plants slow down their growth not only in really cold weather but in really hot weather too?
