But just maybe, i'm not the only one who doesn't like these trees though, as two trees, one from the neighbours on either side of us have suspiciously disappeared???? In our estate, anything non-native is an absolute NO-NO (well, until the developers have packed up their office and gone away ) We had to submit a landscaping plan detailing where every major plant/tree would be placed and what native species it is, carefully selected from the 'allowed' list. And the street trees will be natives, of course. But, I like it that way.
