In an attempt to improve the overall health of the lawn and help the more healthier parts spread to the not-so-healthy areas, I'm wondering if I should dethatch. From my reading, it should be done in early spring so the lawn has time to recover - if I'm able to time it right with some reasonable weather days (somewhere in the mid-to-high 20's), is it worth doing it now or should I hold off?
