Hi,
2nd day of spring and my couch is starting to wake up and become active again. My lawn is coming on a year old (it was laid last year ~November 2011). Now my lawn has quite a few uneven spots, depressions and low spots which I'd ideally like to raise, fill, even out etc. Some spots might require the lightest layer of top dress, others might require maybe an inch or slightly more.
What's the best method of leveling out? Cut the lawn low, dump a meter or two of soil and go from there? Or wait till the lawn wakes up more and top dress afterwards?
The dressing doesn't have to be 100% perfect, just enough to make mowing it and walking on it a little easier.
Cheers
