Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Nov 08, 2012 11:20 am Hi, I am wanting to buy a water feature which comes with 240volt electricity set up, it says plug in, fill with water and enjoy. Where I want to put the water feature we do not have a power point and it is metres and , meters from the powerpoint and dont want to run an extention cord. My question is I have seen on ebay there are solar water pumps for water features, can I get an electrician to take the 240v system out and install the solar system? Many thanks for any help. Would it be possible to get an electrician to install a power point near the water feature? 2 Re: Any electricians out there - question on Water Feature 3Nov 12, 2012 9:53 am stormjr If your removing the 240v pump you could possibly do it your self, either way there is no guarantee that it will work, the pump may not physically fit or may not pump enough water.
