Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Sep 15, 2012 11:43 am Hello everyone, We reached a landscaping/small extension stage for our new property. I would appreciate some ideas regarding the back of our 600m2 block. We have a modest slope towards the back. There is a 3m wide and 17m long easement where a large sewage pipe goes (quite deep, note sure how much exactly). The main part of the block has been leveled. As a result we have a 1m high retaining wall separating the easement with a sloping 3m wide access on the right. See the attached picture (the back windows belong to a planned sunroom which is not there yet ). We can't plant any trees in the easement. My wife is suggesting to make a long 1m wide vegetable/berries bed along the back fence and to put a 2m wide lawn between the garden bed and the retaining wall. To the moment it is the best design we could think of. I would greatly appreciate any ideas/advices. http://imageshack.us/a/img39/9358/backgje.jpg G'day I'm trying to put in some privacy screening on my rental rooftop on a tight budget. It pays to show your State in your avatar.
