Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Sep 09, 2012 3:33 am We are looking at building a long planter box as a divider between the foyer and lounge room to define the space a bit more. I'm clueless when it comes to plants so am hoping for your advice. The spot doesn't get direct sunlight but does get light. Something that grows to around a meter tall would be ideal as the house has high ceilings and i want it to act like a natural screen. I'm also after a lot of green foliage. I'm not fussed if it flowers or not. Any suggestions? Photos or links to photos would be great so I can see what the plants looks like. Thanks in advance. Re: Looking for advice on indoor plants 2Sep 19, 2012 4:04 pm Maybe some peace lilies? My Mum has one of these in her kitchen (south facing, diffused sunlight only) and it's a monster! Has beautiful green foliage and nice white flowers. Not sure how long they would take to grow to a metre tall though. Edit: OK my img code doesn't seem to want to work so you'll have to google for a picture 0 4667 thanks. the above one is white Mat tiles and have gripness so going for this Mat tiles for both indoor and outdoor. Beaumont told it can be used in both indoor and… 2 1589 Murraya could be a great option for you. It creates a great tall screening hedge but doesn't drop fruit like lily pilly. The flowers smell divine. 2 10188 |
