Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Dec 03, 2018 2:54 pm Hi all, A big branch of our orange tree has suddenly started losing all its leaves. The rest of the tree looks healthy to me, and I'm wondering if we need to chop off that branch (e.g. to stop spread of some disease??) or leave it and hope that it gets new growth after the leaves fall off. The affected area seems roughly the same as where I pruned the tree back about 3-4 months ago. It's a bit hard to see in the photo but it's probably a quarter to one third of the tree. I don't want to chop it off if it's likely to come back. I should mention that we're in Brisbane. Adding the photo of the base of the trunk in case that helps to identify disease or any other likely issue. Thanks in advance.
