We only have 4m to the boundary so I guess a dwarf variety is needed. Any advise or recommendations are welcome. It would be planted facing West. Would love to see pictures if anyone has any. There is crepe myrtles from ground covers to small trees so there will be something to suit your yard. Soux is a good cultivar btw. I do like the Soax, just unsure about sizing 4mx3m might be too large for my space? And how long would it take to get to that size? I think a possibility could be a Snow fountain weeping cherry 2 x 2m and have a small shrub variety of the crepe myrtle that are 0.6 x 1m. Re: Tell me about Crepe Myrtle and/or the Dwarf Varieties... 4Jun 14, 2012 11:57 am You can prune crepe's to what ever size you want, they are quite slow growing and certainly not hard to keep under control. It would be many years to get to 4 metres Re: Tell me about Crepe Myrtle and/or the Dwarf Varieties... 5Jun 17, 2012 5:26 pm Today we purchased a Snow Fountain weeping Cherry on sale for $85. I definately think its the right choice for our front yard. I still may get a Crepe Myrtle or something simullar in size for the backyard. Can't wait for it to grow. We will be leaving it in a pot for approx 6 weeks until our house is ready.
