Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 May 16, 2012 12:59 pm Hi everyone. So to the rear of my backyard a would like to build a small garden bed. Around 600mm high x 16m long. Now behind that is a timber capped and lapped fence. My question is, obvioulsy i cant back fill some soil against the fence becuase over time it will cause damage. What do you recommend i do behind there? Im planning to use something from the boral retaining wall range for the front and sides of the garden bed, but want something more cost effective to use behind the garden bed to stop the soil pressing up against the fence Do I need to concern about this pattern of crack? Is this crack showing some signs of bigger problems? Thanks for any suggestions! 1 1913 Hi all, We are looking to build a new two storey house in western Sydney.
