Anyway, time has come for me to ask for some help from you wonderful people as I am still not clear on this issue. I am starting to build a new house and have been told by my builder that i will need retaining walls on the sides. Unfortunately my covenant does not allow Timber Retaining walls. So I am wondering what is the next cheapest option. Both walls are gonna be 500mm high and about 10m long. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I would love to do concrete but my budget just doesn't allow for that much extra I havent costed blockwork so I cant comment . Thanks Re: Retaining Wall on the sides. 5May 09, 2012 12:07 pm Are you planning on DIY or sub-contract it out?
