We planted 9 Ornamental Pear Trees around 3 months ago. When planted they were fed with Powerfeed and seasol, and then weekly for the first month, and then every 2 weeks until now. Pretty much all of the trees look sick to a degree, but some are far worse than others. They appear to be dying back from the end of the branches, and one tree has even spread to the trunk. We are watering them every second day at the moment, we are located in Bendigo Victoria.
Initially we used an excavator to dig holes for the trees, and we then added organic soil that we purchased to build up the garden beds. We also have veges (tomatoes, zucchini), and other plants - bay leaf tree and some succulants growing in the same soil and they are all doing fine.
Are we over watering? Can someone suggest what I am doing wrong and anything that may help? I fear a couple may already be goners.
I am going to attempt to attach some pictures:
