Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design Re: Help with our EZ please! 21Feb 04, 2012 10:28 am Retic works fine. I assume the lawn is getting enough because the times we have dug down after watering, it is saturated. Already used two wetting agents. It's actually looking even better than the last photo now. Most of the yellow is now gone and the regrowth has filled everything in nicely. That's how I know it wasn't a problem with being overdry but with the fungus. Re: Help with our EZ please! 22Feb 09, 2012 10:16 am Just an update. I still have no idea what has been going on, but we are assuming it was fungal now. That massive patch that I posted last time. That had new growth popping up within a few days and that was during the 40 degree heat. I also went away and had a friend only hand watering it and it was fine. There was one area where I don't think it got any water while i was away and we had that heat wave, but you can tell it was lack of water and looks totally different to the photos I posted. The last pic with the dead patch, that is all pretty much covered back in now and the area in the first pic in the original post has come back lusher than ever. There are a couple of little patches out the front, but they aren't big and don't seem to be spreading, so we are just looking after it as we have been doing, and hopefully they will recover easy enough too. The neighbour over the road has sapphire and it is doing the same thing except it looks worse. They have a lawnmower man, and I know that he recently fertilised it as that's what he told us to do. It came back really green for a bit, but now looks worse than ever, so I'm glad we stuck with what we did. That and a bit of patience it seems Re: Help with our EZ please! 23Feb 10, 2012 3:38 pm That's great news. Our EZ is almost back to normal as well...looks green and lush again. Our Sapphire is still struggling. Lots of regrowth, but still has dead and yellow interspersed throughout. Ack, should have got EZ for both front and back. Help with our EZ please! 24Feb 17, 2012 1:30 am Using Kike or couch is the very reason why I can cruise one urban McLandscape disaster zone after another and see people who hate their lawns. More grass in the gardens than the lawn. In the two streets surrounding my place, there would be one or two houses that have grass free garden beds. Another 200 houses that don't. Not a great look. You can't keep a tiger in the garden. However where like and couch can roam free and be in the right place they are a beautiful thing. In a garden around a house they are not unless significant "crazy lawn guy" skills are applied. These problems are not due to a brand of turf but the condition of the soil. We don't say, I fell down and ripped a hole in my Brand X jeans so Brand Y jeans are definitely better. Fall and any brand of jeans will rip in the same way. Check the other two threads on this issue and it'll be fine. Sent via Tapatalk Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 3611 i had the my concreters concrete right up to the fence. I have pits all along my path, so the water tends to drain away from the house and into the pits.
