We have a bird of paradise which is overgrown in a massive Balinese pot that we will transplant into the ground in the new house.
Just wondering what people's thoughts are re: Strelitzia's. Do you think they are good specimen plants for the front yard?
I see a lot of them in people's front yards and they look massive, straggly and overgrown. Not sure if I want this in the front yard so another alternative is to put it out the back.
Are they easy to keep tidy? Our pot has about 7 or 8 plants in it of various sizes. BTW the pot is broken & I don't want to buy another. But it might be nice for a bit of instant garden
