Hi everyone! *waves*
My partner & I are currently in the process of designing a tri-level home on a sloped block (approx 3m)... plans are coming along nicely, but I want to get some idea of what we can/should do with the block too.
This is my thread, for anyone who wants some background: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53180&start=40
BACKYARD:
Basically, there is a sidewards slope of ~3m across our block, and at the rear of the house we will have an alfresco area, with ?stairs down to a lower level alfresco (this section not under the roofline)...
You can see in my drawings (below) what I have envisaged.. a retaining wall or stone wall with stairs up to the higher level (so some cut will be required). But is there anything I am not taking into consideration? Any suggestions??

FRONTYARD:
In the front yard, I will raise the front yard on one side to be level with the front door, with the driveway down lower.. stairs from the drive way up to the front door. This was a little easier to picture thanks to the picture/facade image.
