You can get from any gardening store.. Do u have alot of snails at your place? Re: Dwarf Lime Tree 4Dec 17, 2011 11:35 pm No grubs. Not at all. Molasses (check the thread on it) "Osomocote plus Organics" (general purpose, not the citrus one) along with some "Rocket Fuel" by Nutrog choc full of trace elements in organic forms. Cover over with more straw in the the pot almost to the top. Nice and thick. The problems with the leaf margins will sort its self out. Re: Dwarf Lime Tree 5Dec 18, 2011 4:35 pm Cheers Fu. If I use molasses when I am putting it on the lawn once a month, is this sufficient? Also, is it ok to use grass clippings as I have done to date to cover the base of the lime tree? I'll have to get some Osmocote and Rocket Fuel - do Bunnings sell Rocket Fuel? Thanks. Dwarf Lime Tree 6Dec 20, 2011 8:58 am Well using lawn clippings as a mulch is a really poor practice. It's not properly understood by many professionals unfortunately. Don't waste the clippings though. Compost them first and then reapply to the lawn where it came from. I think we just found part of the problem. Dwarf Lime Tree 7Dec 20, 2011 9:00 am All good garden centers sell rocket fuel. Oh and using molasses on a lawn once a month is more than enough. Dwarf Lime Tree 8Dec 20, 2011 9:03 am Make sure you get the "Osmocote Plus Organics" rather than your average household Osmocote. Huge differences between them. Re: Dwarf Lime Tree 9Dec 21, 2011 5:59 pm Hi Fu. Got the Rocket Fuel, got the Osmocote and a nice thick layer of mulch. Came home today to inspect my handy work from this morning, and noticed there was another beastie attacking my Lime tree. Any suggestions? I also noticed some leaves looked like they were rolled up. Not sure if they are just new or something else. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Dwarf Lime Tree 10Dec 23, 2011 12:50 am _TJ_ Hi Fu.
