I'll have to dig that layer out. With the back yard it falls towards the house. The house has a 1m path in front of it and that falls away from the house so I'm thinking of trenching here and add an agg pipe to silt pit. Should I put pipes in after I rotary hoe? Next to the new retaining wall I will backfill with 20mm drainage scoria and connect to the same silt pit that the other line is connecting too. Hope this makes sense. Yep think i caught most of that, sounds good. Depending on what your using to dig, if its mechanical doesn't matter whether its before or after you rotary hoe it, if its pick and spade work then i'd get the rotary hoe in first, at least that way the first 30cm is easy and it means theres no chance of taking out your new pipes Our Build - Places Fairhaven 23+ - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=28045 Our Landscaping - Belial's Backyard - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=45375 I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13053 Firstly, if your house is still under builder's warranty (10 years in Victoria) you should have no need to crawl into roof space but let the builder handle it, unless you… 3 5633 What size are the windows, double or single glazed, can I have a pic of the full windows inside & out?
