Hi All,
When we completed our landscaping last year, we got the landscaper to plant a Japanese maple dwarf as our feature tree . It was a sight to behold at first, however, during summer the tree was basically fried and most of the leaves dropped (even though the tree is facing east and westerly sun is blocked by my house).
I have been waiting anxiously for spring to see how the leaves turn out but have been worried as i have seen many branch tips "die off". To clean it up, i have pruned most of the dead branch tips, but I am worried that there could be an underlying problem. Any ideas or steps to take from here ?

p.s : I have been applying seasol, powerfeed and molasses regularly...
