Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Aug 17, 2011 11:10 am Hello Everyone, I am a homeowner and i am having some contractors doing my interlock patio and i've noticed that the curve portion of the patio seems a little spaced (see picture). When i asked the patio guy, he said that he could not insert pieces of interlock in the gaps because they were two small. I was wondering if someone can tell me if my contractor is correct or is he just being lazy. I would really appreciate the help. He is being lazy. little triangle cuts to fill the gaps will look bad and probably crack Da Vinci Outdoor Living Architectural landscaping http://www.davincioutdoor.com Re: Interlock patio curve 3Aug 18, 2011 2:12 am Thanks for the response. My landscaping guy is being difficult, he keeps sayint that it is too late. So do you think i can do it myself. What i mean is would it be as simple as buying a couple of stone and cutting them. TIA Christian Re: Interlock patio curve 4Aug 19, 2011 7:11 pm if the job isnt finished then it isnt to late, landscapers like that really *** me off, it isnt hard to cut a paver But also if you paid cheap then you get cheap. Yes you can do it your self, buy more pavers and hire a brick saw from someone like kennards etc who can show you how to safely use it, they are dangerous for people with no experience. Bunnings hire them but i wouldnt trust them for correct operation guidence of a brick saw. There are also brick cutters who come to site and charge app $1 a cut + gst. maybe cheaper to do that than hire a saw. Go for a drive in a new estate and you should find a brick cutter working.
