I'd like to get 50-100 Liriope to use in our new garden. Thanks. Re: Place to buy bulk plants? 2Aug 16, 2011 10:33 pm You do know that they won't stay in a nice tidy clump don't you? They will fill the garden bed totally. I've spent years trying to remove them from some gardens. If that's OK then check out trading post or gumtree. Just by them, spilt them, trim them and plant, you wouldn't pay money for plants like that. All you need is one big clump and you'll get 200 plants. I've found a few places, but was just wondering if anyone had used any in particular. Great tall flowers sitting well above the clump. Its also well behaved compared to others, it doesnt send rhizomes all over the place. The big thing will liriope is the snails love them, and they will make them look terrible without some sort of controls in place. They also bleach in all day summer full sun and look yellow rather than green. Give them some shade and they are fine. IMO Dianellia and lomandra are better in full sun than liriopes. Re: Place to buy bulk plants? 6Aug 19, 2011 7:17 am I like http://www.gardenexpress.com.au/ It's based in Victoria but does ship to other state. Very good prices for bulk items. Use a product like Equisol's Vitalise to clean the deck then coat with a penetrating timber oil. It will look 10 years younger and add value to your home. Visit for… 1 15812 Appreciate that Chippy. I won’t do sand under pavers and will connect all up under pavers, however I was going to do: 1) Roadbase compacted with manual hand tamper 2)… 10 18578 |
