The guy building the retaining wall has gone from doing the first row that way to now doing it the right way, he thinks I should get money back from the engineers as he reckons it took them longer than it should have to do it there way plus the design is wrong.....what do you think I should do????? Do a google search for Concrib type wall construction. They are open style retailing wall that uses loose aggregate and pre-cast concrete which is a similar design to your rock wall. Gravel wash out doesn't seem to be a problem with concrib walls. I would still go with the order of Dirt - fabric - gravel - wall. Hope this helps. Thank you again Simeon..
