Hi,
Our side fence was installed yesterday Pictures at bottom of post. Tomorrow I am going to complete the retaining at the base of the fence. I have noticed that on the right hand side of the fence the plinth is in line of just below with my retaining wall but as I get to the rear of the property the plinth is around 50-60mm higher which will show a gap from the top of my retaining wall and bottom of fence plinth. Obviously the ground level is a tad higher up this end of the backyard and I have a retaining wall of 600mm all the way through. It’s hard to tell from the angles of the photos but I'm sure u can see what I mean.
Should I just take around 50-60mm of soil from below the plinth and add another smaller plinth to cover the gap to the next door neighbours or try and angle my backfill scoria and soil up. The problem I can see with angling my soil up is that it will probably wash away anyway.
Second question I have is with the Agg pipe. I’m going for a 90mm socked flex pipe. I have been reading and finding so much mixed information as to the best way I should do the drainage. What I have come up with is to level out what’s behind the wall between posts I can’t dig lower than the concrete this would create dips in the drainage. So ill keep it level but as low to the wall as possible. I did put a slight 50mm fall on the original wall when I made it over the whole 26 meters so the drain should follow this natural fall I have created. Should I put a small base of scoria down and compact to get it level with the concrete between posts or not bother since the agg will have a sock on it. I have really bad clay soil. Does scoria stain timber sleepers? I am looking at completing the whole backfill with scoria and probably putting some nice feature stones as a top layer. Is geo fabric necessary on such a small wall with the entire back fill with scoria and a sock over the agg pipe? Can I use a black plastic on the back of the sleepers to stop future weeds or water coming through each sleeper creating possible silt stains? Or will this possibly create too much pressure on the wall?

A lot of questions I know but I just want to get this right.
Thanks in advance
