Applies to certain varieties only eg, dwarf varieties ? 2. If this can't be avoided, do they then need to be pulled out after a few years ? I had a hedge of french lavender many years ago & even though I harvested the flowers (not cut back), it got pretty woody & difficult to manage. I am looking at dwarf varieities : Munstead Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ & Hidcote Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Any comments or answers to the above questions ? thanks all Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Lavender over time....... 4Jul 28, 2011 7:41 pm Southies I know lavenders get woody over time.
