Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jul 07, 2011 7:49 pm Hi all, The subject says it all really. I have a 900mm retaining wall built, the ag pipe is in, and I have covered it with about 200mm of crushed rock so far. I also have a whole bunch of house bricks that will be labour intensive and expensive to remove from the property due to access reasons. The question: Can I use broken brick parts (say 1/3 of a brick) in place of crushed rock to fill the remaining 700mm? Anyone see a problem with this? Cheers, HC Re: Retaining wall - Crushed brick instead of crushed rock 2Jul 07, 2011 7:53 pm Broken bricks will be fine. All you need is a well draining medium. it might be best to put some gravel on the top though to keep any soil from getting washed in and filling up the voids. Could the end up blocking my ag pipe?
