Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jul 04, 2011 10:09 am Does anyone know a Sydney nursery that sells mature frangipani trees (approximately 1.5m high)? I have searched online and all options appear to be queensland which means paying as much for shipping as the tree and no chance to look at tree first (except via photo). I am expecting to pay more because the Sydney nurseries probably need to ship them down as well. Any area of Sydney OK. Re: Where to buy mature frangipani in Sydney 2Jul 04, 2011 12:56 pm http://www.frangipanitrees.com.au/buy/ This may be of help to you. They are in Noosa but they deliver for a price to your door. Have you tried ringing some local nurseries and asking them? Re: Where to buy mature frangipani in Sydney 3Jul 04, 2011 1:26 pm I have already been in discussion with the supplier in Noosa. A mature tree has a large spread which requires more shipping space but all the area underneath is wasted. The estimated shipping cost is close to $200 per tree and I still run the risk that it arrives damaged or not what I thought I was getting. I live inner city and local nurseries too small to stock mature trees - in fact they referred me online. I could ring around but am new to Sydney and have no idea where the big nurseries are or their trading names. Where to buy mature frangipani in Sydney 4Jul 04, 2011 5:55 pm There is a large nursery in Sydney called Eden. We also went to a large wholesale nursery open to the public out Oran Park way who were brilliant - and they delivered. Some things are worth waiting for.
