Looks like some bugs burrowing? Either way they are no threat to your lawn what so ever. as for the rest of the lawn, its going to bounce back fine when it warms up soon. Avoid the fertiliser, use molasses, seasol, powerfeed. Look to mowing with out a catcher. Ain't that the truth!
