Worked fine, but was a bit flexy. It was basically a colorbond panel but rather than screwed to a post, was screwed to hinges, I copied the one from the side of the house. Cheap and easy, but I would't want to use it on a gate used everyday. Ours was basically a shortcut to get the ball from over the back fence, or push the mower through to mow the embankment behind the house which only occurred once a week or so. The one on the side of the house was used more often, but I never got around to fixing it before we moved out and it worked fine provided it was propped open and not alowed to swing shut if you could avoid it. I should have followed up on this thread.
