Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jun 13, 2011 2:07 pm Hi everyone, We're about to have our garden installed (finally!! ) and need to have the yellow sand removed so that its 30mm lower than the surrounding paving. It's accumulated a bit of rubble and couch over the months since handover! I wonder if anybody can give me a heads up on how much they have paid to have someone with a bobcat+truck setup do the job for them? And if anyone knows someone who does this, could you pretty please PM me their details? Thanks in advance!! I must add, we're NOR in Perth Re: Garden installation prep - how much for a bobcat+truck? 3Jun 13, 2011 3:50 pm Awesome, thanks pezz!! We've had one guy estimate $550 over the phone without even seeing the site, which is probably 4x30 m in size - just a verge. Sounds a bit steep... but then, how much does the tip charge per cube to dump sand? Spose its not exactly "clean" but its not far off it either. I'm guessing it'd only take an hour, two including the run to the tip! Sheesh. Re: Garden installation prep - how much for a bobcat+truck? 4Jul 14, 2011 6:44 pm to remove 11cubic m of soil from front yard to tip, roughly ard 45 min, $450 Re: Garden installation prep - how much for a bobcat+truck? 5Jul 17, 2011 3:56 pm Not sure if you're in a growing area or not with lots of development going on, but about 2 weeks ago walked across the street and asked the guys doing site and driveway cuts, "how much to scrape and take away the rubbish/soil in my back garden?". Well cash is king and $150 done in about and hour 7 6300 I need to replace the worn mohair seal on my sliding window, but I can't get access to the end to slide the old one out & push the new one in. I could probably rip the old… 0 5314 Thanks Simon, I guess I'm no concerned with the volume of the noise rather that dead and hollow sound and feel that is associated with floating floors. But I'm not sure… 3 6292 |
