Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Jan 14, 2008 8:38 am Hi,
Need suggestions on what flavour plants to put in here. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Faces south so doesn't get a lot of sun. Nothing big, shrub like I guess, garden bed is about 300mm lower than ground level and 500mm wide. Was thinking something about 2 metres high and 1m wide in a couple of places. Then some low plants. Thanks Re: What to plant, South facing wall 3Jan 14, 2008 6:04 pm You said it yourself….what flavour plants…..how about a herb garden?

It needs to be a non watered garden or you are just asking for termite to use it as a water source bisde that lovely stack of timber inside you hosue walls. So IMO I'd go for natives that need no water. Steve Re: What to plant, South facing wall 5Jan 14, 2008 7:37 pm Yak_Chat Be careful Al. Faces south, so in summer it gets afternoon sun from lunch till dusk, in winter it will get sweet bugger all as the sun is so low. Re: What to plant, South facing wall 6Jan 14, 2008 8:15 pm It's pretty much a rule of houses.
No wetting of areas beside the walls. Give them water and they can survive, once they survive with afood source nearby = I'll post a bit of stuff in a couple re this soon. Steve The warning is on the sticker on the door too. Second the aluminium powdercoat 6 18198 It might be a bit darker in the mornings but the light is still light, so you should be getting it.
