Re: Paving complete! 9Aug 08, 2011 12:22 am mikeg12 Fu - is that a copper pipe running down the wall for the irrigation run off? This is what my dad told me to do but the garden lady at Mitre10 provided me with this set up that i have now - and i have already noticed the water flow difference, tis a bit concerning ! should i replace the black poly tubing with copper piping ? how does it tee off at the bottom? (ie does in just use a elbow to return off to the black piping ? I would suggest not getting retic advice from Mitre10? See a retic shop instead The copper pipe is the water pipe. Your problem is not the black poly, that's fine. The problem is the water flow through those junk tee things. Rubbish gadgets. Solve a problem at great sacrifice to water flow. Try turning those taps on and off when its 3 years old and 2 degrees. Or when its bloody hot and when you turn those plastic taps the plastic starts bending in your fingers. Just get the Y piece as I described and most of the problems will be gone. Running retic off taps is a very poor practice and should always be avoided in most circumstances. Sorry!
