Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 May 07, 2011 11:43 am Hi I don't know what is the correct wording for this, but I will do my best to describe it, I have a round concrete septic inspection hole with a black plastic lid. What I want to do is raise this a bit because I am trying to level my front land for paving. So how wound I go about to remove this rounded concrete cover? And is there a nicer cover I can replace it with that is square shape so it will look nicer with my surrounding pavers? Thanks. David Re: How to raise my septic inspection hole concrete cover 2May 07, 2011 1:35 pm I'd be inclined to say that raising it will not be possible. What about doing a raised edge and then making a small timber lid for that area. Like a mini deck. Go out to a timber recycling yard and find some nice old timber for it. Then it is more of a hatch. Would look more inviting than a concrete lid That's all I got.
