Hi all,
I have a series of mature pittosporum tenuifoliums (7+yrs old) but I've recently noticed a horrible fungus-like growth on the branches which seems to have spread across all the plants, regardless of the variety. (I have 1 screenmaster, then 2 variegated ones and then another screenmaster) The fungus appears as these white pustles which can be scraped with the fingernail and turns black as it matures.
I'm not quite sure what the problem is, I've done a bit of digging around and I came across some suggestions that it was scale or mealy bugs - neither of which I've come across before. Can you help?
Thanks!
