I have been told to hire a land-levelling person and get a pit dug and fill it with soil. Is this the common norm in Williams Landing? Best to create a raised garden bed, add soil. This will create good drainage for your veggies. Make sure the beds get plenty of sunshine. Watch how the sun moves around your house during the day.
