When ever a plant looks sad, feed the soil! Don't fertilize. That, more often than not, harms the living universe in your soil. The living universe of life in the soil is what makes plants grow. it's not a bag of fertilizer. Seasol, powerfeed and molasses diluted in water. (see the thread) Mulch with a wonderful layer of straw and then a course chunky mulch over the top. I absolutely swear by shredded tree prunings from your local contractor. But next time around I planted the WA one, hardenbergia comptoniana and it is doing great. I really feel if you stick with the local natives they will have much less problems. Put it this way, If you haven't heard me recommend it, there's a reason I'd suggest you use molasses. In fact I'd further suggest you mix a batch of molasses and store it for a few days, maybe a week if it doesn't explode. You can bet diluted molasses smells like sick.... molasses, cheaper and far better with no unpleasant odour when used fresh. Looking for advice on whether this variation in tile colour is acceptable.
