Sure people can advertise, but he has his own opinions, and does not always agree with the advertisements. eg; Kenda Kikuyu is advertised, but if you look at the article for Male sterile Kikuyu types, it basically recommends against them, unless you have a lot of wear, like dogs or for use on sporting ovals. From what I understand, the site started of as a lawn care site for mowing contractors, and naturally developed into a much wider lawn web site. I think sharing research information from Australian Buffalo research like shade research etc by an independent web site is long over due. I think this one is definitely independent.
