Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design 1 Mar 26, 2011 9:21 pm hi just wondering if anyone had ideas about relative cost of things. I'm thinking of down the side of the house. the length is 20m and the width is 1.5m and these are the options, however I'm not sure about the costs: (pavers are 600 x 400) 1. artificial grass 2. Boral pavers laid as a paved path (1200mm wide) with pebbles on either side 3. a concrete path (done at time of driveway 1200mm wide) with pebbles on either side 4. Boral pavers laid as stepping stones with pebbles on either side....I figured even though you use less pavers this way it's more labour intense since you have to lay concrete for each paver...compared to just paving the whole 20m as a strip? The pebbles/gravel almost allways ends up getting pushed over the top of the stepping stones and you are forever having to fix it up after walking over it. A continuous strip or concrete is the better option.
