Also, slow-growing. They're lovely, but if you want an alternative to a grass tree due to cost and slow growth, they're probably no better. Go have a look at Sertel's - they have quite large cycads and grass trees for very good prices. I have a reasonably sized one in a pot that would sell for $70-80 in most nurseries and I only paid $40 for it. No point at all buying weeny little ones to save $$. Quite a few of our neighbours have planted entire borders of teeny-tiny cycads - obviously nobody told them they'll be dead and buried before the plants start to develop any size. 0 4690 Hi there, long-time lurker but first time posting.
